DealSpot is a community-driven mobile app for discovering local discounts and limited-time offers across categories like food, beauty & spa, fitness, travel, and retail. Users post deals they find in-store or online, scan receipts for verification, and redeem offers with simple, shopper-friendly flows.

🎯 Goal

Build a fast, trustworthy experience where people can browse, post, validate, and redeem deals with minimal friction—and keep the community engaged with voting, comments, and saves.

🧭 Core Flows

Product Tour & Onboarding: Clear value prop, progressive permissions, and friendly empty states.

Authentication: Email/phone login, OTP, password reset, and error handling.

Home Feed: Card-based layout with discount badges, time-left indicators, and popularity states.

Discover: Category hubs (Food, Travel, Beauty, Fitness, etc.), trending lists, and nearby offers.

Deal Details: Price breakdown, before/after savings, store info, map/location, expiry, and CTAs.

Post a Deal: Upload photos, add title, price, coupon code, category, tags, and store location.

Receipt Scan: Upload/scan receipts to validate deals and unlock community trust/cashback.

Redeem & Wallet: Barcode/QR redemption, “mark as used,” saved deals, and vouchers.

Social Layer: Upvote/downvote, comments, share, follow creators, report/flag content.

Search & Filters: Sort by distance, discount %, price, category, and freshness.

Visual Language: Warm coral gradient accents on a clean, light UI for strong visual hierarchy.

Typography & Icons: SF-style, highly legible type with lightweight outline icons for clarity.
